Insurance Coverage and Health Care Costs

No Medical Doctor’s Referral is ever required for chiropractic care.

Our Policy

We do not want financial matters to affect your ability to obtain the care that your deserve. At Pacific Chiropractic and Massage Therapy we offer flexible means of payment on an individual basis, which we are happy to discuss with you upon your next visit.

Extended Health Coverage

Private insurance coverage supplied by employers or purchased individually often provides reimbursement for chiropractic care and massage therapy. Receipts are available from our office and should be sent to your extended health benefits carrier. Consult your employer for the required reimbursement forms.

ICBC

ICBC Coverage is provided for chiropractic office visits and X-rays for injuries resulting from motor vehicle accidents. No referral is required. ICBC may pay only part of the usual office fees. Any remaining balance is the responsibility of the patient. This portion may be recoverable upon settlement of your claim. We will provide, upon request, a medical legal report and attend court when requested by your lawyer or ICBC’s lawyer.

Workers’ Compensation Board

Workers’ Compensation Board Coverage for chiropractic office visits and X-rays are provided for work-related injuries. Workers are covered for wage loss benefits. No referral is required for a chiropractic visit. Injured persons should call to schedule a chiropractic examination immediately upon injury.
